For five months, the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) served as the main distributor of food in Gaza, backed by the United States and Israel, and more than 1,000 people were allegedly killed while seeking aid at its sites.
We reconstructed two aid sites using hours of footage and interviews with Palestinian aid seekers and former GHF contractors, and the resulting short film examines how the design of the militarised aid system - from planning to execution - made deaths and injuries effectively inevitable.
